Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
Woodend is very fortunate to have five new volunteer firefighters join the team at the CFA. Brett Gray, Phil Gidley, Ben Lawford, Lucy Levecke and Juliana Kumori have just completed their General Fire Fighter (GFF) training (pictured left to right with Woodend 3rd Lieutenant Rob Marsh) and are now able to turn out with the Brigade.
They continue the tradition of excellent training at the Woodend Fire Brigade, and passed their final assessments with flying colours. Woodend also has a number of other new recruits currently in training and it is planned that they will complete their GFF training to be ready for the next fire season.
