Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
The Woodend Neighbourhood House (WNH) has celebrated its 30th birthday. 30 years ago (July 15) the WNH became an incorporated organisation, having been established immediately after the tragic Ash Wednesday fires. As part of the celebrations a special presentation was made to the Woodend CFA, with a collection organised by the team at the WNH. Woodend 1st Lieutenant Mike Dornau attended at accept the very generous donation. A huge thank you to Jill Scanlon, Angela van Dam and the team at the WNH for organising the event, and the generosity of the WNH community. And another fantastic cake by Sharon Frantz at Blackbird Cakes (right down to the alarm on the front).
