Woodend had two of the best players on the ground in the Celebrity Footy Match at the Romsey Oval.
Coached by the famous Dipper, Chris Byrne and Sean Hume played starring roles in a very entertaining game, Volunteers versus the Rest of the World, organised by the Macedon Ranges Shire. Also thanks to Ben Botwood, Nat Briggs and Andrew Purcell for an excellent job selling raffle tickets … even got Dipper to buy some. Woodend CFA was also presented a special certificate from the government for our role in the summer fire fight.
