Woodend Tanker 1 and FCV were called to the fast-moving grass fire along Edgecombe Road in Kyneton this afternoon. A total of 40 appliances were called to battle the fire that threatened numerous properties. Aerial support from a number of helicopters was invaluable. A great save by the crews involved. Woodend will be replacing the crew on T1 at around 8pm to do an all-night shift. Another great effort by our CFA volunteers, with around 150 involved. Thanks to White Cloud for the photos!
