With temperatures hitting 40 degrees plus in areas across the state this week, a reminder to never leave kids, adults or pets in hot cars, even for a minute. The risk of heatstroke and dehydration is very real. Even on a mild day, the temperature inside a parked car can be 20 to 30 degrees hotter than the temperature outside.
