Woodend T1 and FCV are now back safely in station. Thank you to all of the Woodend CFA volunteers who have been to the fires up north on Strike Team duty over recent days – you all did a sensational job in very difficult circumstances. Thank you to all of the Woodend CFA volunteers who were ready to turn out if they were needed. Thank you to all of the Woodend volunteers who were available 24-7 locally to keep the community safe when needed. Thank you to all of the Woodend CFA volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you to our community members and local businesses who offered us valuable support as well. Our thoughts now turn to long term recovery of those affected by the fires across the State.
