Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
The CFA has announced that Fire Restrictions will be coming soon in the Macedon Ranges. This is much earlier than previous years and an indication of the dangerous fire season we have ahead. So you may only have a few days to complete your last-minute burns. Please be aware that there are Shire restrictions on burning off relating to the size of your block – for example, if you live on an acre or less you CANNOT burn off at all. Please visit the Macedon Ranges Shire website and do an alphabetical search under Burning Off. Also please be very careful of the weather conditions, we have been called out recently to several Out of Control burns on extremely windy days … very irresponsible and dangerous!
