Farewells look different during a pandemic.
The Wilson-Annan family invites you to participate by lining the route as we bid farewell to Julie Wilson-Annan on her departure from Woodend after a private family ceremony.
At 9:30am, Woodend CFA fire fighting vehicles will escort Julie as she leaves Woodend up the Avenue of Honour heading north from the Honeysuckle Lane intersection to the Whitelodge Road intersection.
Biodegradable balloons will be provided at multiple collection points down the Avenue of Honour for you to collect prior to 9:30am and then wave and release as Julie passes by or you may wish to bring a flower from home instead.
Safety considerations:
* During a global pandemic, please remain socially-distanced between household groups.
* Please do not park on the Avenue of Honour (try Honeysuckle Lane, Montgomerys Lane, Whitelodge Road or Bowers Road and walk up to the Avenue before 9:30am).
* Please stay off the road and do not walk in front of or between any of the vehicles.
Please feel free to capture photos / video and share on Facebook.
Thank you for your love and support prior to and since Julie’s death.
