Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
Just before dusk last night we were called to a fire at the Woodend Golf Course, spotted by a person taking a walk. We eventually discovered it right on the top of the hill at the back of the golf course, which made access quite tricky. The FCV found a path and guided our new T1 to the fire, which was quickly extinguished. We are unsure how the fire started. However, due to Zero Tolerance during the Fire Danger Period, the Police were called. Lucky it was reported when it was. If it had gone unseen during the night, it surely would have spread into the Cyprus trees along the fence line.
