Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
Woodend CFA runs a Junior Volunteer Development Program for youth aged between 11 and 15 years. Our first session for 2022 is on Thursday Feb 17th from 6 pm until 7.15pm – we will provide a barbeque dinner on this night. Woodend Juniors is on every 2nd Thursday during School Terms from 6pm until 7.15pm. There is always a minimum of 2 adult Leaders (who hold Working With Children Cards) at every session. We do great activities that include:
– Practical fire fighting skills
– Map reading and radio use
– Fire Safety Awareness
– Community service.
