Woodend CFA recently held our annual dinner, to celebrate our 119th anniversary. One of the highlights of the evening is the raffle, which wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of some very generous local businesses. On the night we raised over $2,000.
Sincere appreciation to: Bexley’s Frames, Blackbird Cakes, Blackforest Meats, Bourkies Bakehouse, CarasMatic, Chelleon for Hair, Colenso, Coles, Colour Me Cooper, Cuttings, Excessories, Feeling Framed, Firebird Motors, Flowers in a Vase, Glenn Paris Tiumber design, Holgates, Il Café, Just Ask Geoff, Kosmac & Clemens, Macedon Ranges Travel, Maloa House Gourmet Delights, May 5 Gifts, Melbourne & Country Fire Protection, Mitre 10, Mort & Pestel, Nature’s Garden, New Leaves, Pabulous Coffee & Chocolate, Second Blooming Florist, Schatzi’s, Switch, Top Shop, Vic Hotel, The Village Larder, Warner’s Jewellers, Alma Warnock, Woodend Bicycle Shop, Woodend Newsagency, Woodend Pharmacy, Woodend Wine Store, Yggdrasil Equestrian Training, Zarby’s.
A special raffle was held for a VB Bar Fridge, generously donated by the VIC Hotel, that alone raised over $1000 for the brigade and was won by Simon Bailey, whose enthusiastic team brought hundreds of dollars worth of tickets. And a huge thanks to Sue Hobbs and her team for organising a great event.
