Jad Geer, one of the teachers at Woodend Primary school, recently planned an ‘act of kindness’ for her grade prep class to teach them about giving and how it can be quite rewarding. They made some biscuits for the Woodend Fire Brigade and made a special trip to the fire station to present their delicious biscuits and other special gifts. Woodend CFA volunteer Mike Selby was there to gratefully accept their ‘act of kindness’ and give them a tour of the station.
