Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
Last night we attended yet another burn-off out of control, very dangerously in the Ashbourne area. The fire was unattended, there had obviously been no work done in preparation, there was no water of fire-fighting materials present and there was a strange cocktail on the fire itself. Woodend CFA took some time to bring the fire under control and make sure it was extinguished. If people are going to burn-off, please take care to do it safely and correctly.
