Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
As part of the recent celebrations of the 30th birthday of the Woodend Neighbourhood House, the team at the WNH decided to organise a special collection for the Woodend CFA. The connection dates back to the fact that the WNH was born out of the aftermath of the tragic Ash Wednesday fires in 1983. Pictured are Jill Scanlon from WNH and Mike Dornau from CFA making appropriate presentations of the donation and the certificate of appreciation. A total of $146 was raised and will certainly be put to good use. Thanks to Jill, Angela van Dam, the team at the WNH and those who donated so generously.
