Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
On the evening of Friday August 29, the Woodend CFA accepted the challenge from the Gisborne CFA to raise money for the Moter Neuron Disease fund raiser the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. So on a cold winter evening Simon Bailey, Sean Hume, Paddy Callaghan, Brad Dean, Kate Daniel, Andrew Purcell and Mitch Hobbs took part with assistance from Sue Hobbs and Keith Beman.
Donations are currently being collected by Sue Hobbs at the station.
We now nominate the Tylden CFA and Trentham CFA to take up the challenge next.
