It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Woodend CFA member Sam Bahgat.
Sam passed away this morning, after a brief battle with the demon cancer.
He made a fantastic contribution in his time with the Brigade, not only a Fire Fighter but also in the maintenance
and running of the Brigade, as well as community events and education..
He was also one of life’s real characters.
A long-time Woodend resident, Sam made the lifestyle decision recently to move north the warmer climate of Cairns.
Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
