Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
This morning Woodend CFA members were given a close look at last week’s Planned Fuel Reduction burn on Mt Macedon. Parks Victoria staff who were patrolling the area gave us a briefing on the extensive and intense planning that went into the 60 hectare burn. We then walked along some of the control lines to inspect how effective and successful the burn had been. On Good Friday evening the fire presented a spectacular light show in the dark, but all was under control the entire time. Thanks to the Parks Victoria team for taking the time. A job well done!
