At 5.30pm on Tuesday we were called to an MVA on Blackforest Drive, with a possible person trapped. On arrival we found the road covered in stones with a sedan on its roof. Fortunately paramedics had extricated the driver from the car, who was treated in the ambulance. Police blocked off the road as CFA and SES volunteers worked furiously to clear all four lanes from the debris, and washaway the remaining stones. It appears a car had lost its trailer load of stones across the road, and the innocent driver of the sedan happened to drive onto the scene at the wrong time. The car appears to have skidded on the stones and rolled. A great effort by CFA, SES, ambos, police and tow truck drivers to clear the scene in about an hour.
