Last week the brigade held a Breathing Apparatus skills maintenance night where qualified members practiced donning BA gear. The members also went through the standard procedure for entering a premises and the relevant safety measures undertaken at an entry point. It’s regular training like this that keeps members skill sets up to date and prepares them for a real incident that could happen at any stage.
Special thanks to Phil Challis from the Bullengarook brigade for taking the time to come along and instruct on the night.
