Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
Last evening 21 Woodend CFA members attended a special medal ceremony at the Kyneton Town Hall.
The National Emergency Medal was awarded to CFA Members who rendered sustained and significant service in response to the tragic Bushfire Season from January to March in 2009, including the Black Saturday fires.
Those who attended to receive their awards were: Sam Bahgat, Simon Bailey, Keith Beman, Mick Bobic, Troy Bowen, Paul Burgess, Mick Christie, Mike Dornau, Mitch Hobbs, Brad Jepsen (Shelee), Keith Mason, Stewart McKinnon, Dave Muir, Steve Ritchie, Steve Rumble, Amber Smeenk, Kim Tully, Annette van Huffel, Rene Vroombout, Geoff Wells and Andrew Wilson-Annan. Those unable to attend were George Keyes, Phil Pringle, Graham Glasson, Pete Manser, Andrew Price and Richard Price. Well done team!
