There are a huge number of large trees down around the Shire. This morning we were called to one down on Beves Lane in Woodend that brought down power lines for more than 100 metres, pulled a power pole out of the ground and also damaged one house. Please be very careful driving in these conditions, good luck Powercor with restoring the power to residents (it will take some time) and the Shire in removing the tree.
