Displays when Total Fire Ban in force
Our busy time continued on Monday when we were called to a paddock fire on Crows Road just after 5pm. Lt Malcolm Judd was first on scene in Woodend Tanker 1 and immediately called to make Tankers 5. The fire impacted on two properties with enclosures, grassland and some hay bales. Crews from Woodend, Newham, Carlsruhe, Kyneton and Tylden had the fire quickly under control, including having to roll out the hay bales. The busy day continued with an evening call to an alarm at the new Coles and also return to Crows Road to check on any re0–ignition.
